Elina Sol on my Role as Model

If you ask most people, they
think a model succeeds through their career just through their looks. Of
course, models have to portray the right role to pull off the images. A great
photographer also helps immensely. To be
successful model like Kim Alexis, Cindy Crawford, Lauren Hutton, Cheryl Tiegs,
Linda Joyce, Willow Bay etc., you must be up on your game, know the business,
and become a successful and well verse business women. I read many books in
self- improvement in business and management, philosophy, cultural aspects
mythology, and anything that pertains to communication.
I am looking forward to my
trip to India. I have read about the
people, the religions of India, as well as the customs. For instance, many
people do not know that the Swastika is a form that is respected to the Hindu,
Jains and Buddhist people. Hitler stole the symbol and made it his own under
the Third Reich. I am looking forward to visit the sites of Rajasthan which are
Holy sites and are usually palaces and forts.
I frequently read a number of
authors such as John Maxwell, Andrew Dietz, and a number of philosophers from
the Greek era to Modern Philosophy including Sartre, Camus to Levi Strauss. I
have been reading of late THE ART OF PERFECT TIMING by Stuart Albert. I am currently reading the Sequence Inversion
of being at the right place and the right time.
My personal manager
frequently challenges me. We have been playing Chess once per week. I am
working on a couple of collages with Marc Gagnon. I have found him to be a friend, personal
advisor, and my mentor. He has found me to be intellectually stimulating and
also a friend. I have found the other
models under him to be extraordinary. A model should also adhere to business
discipline, ethical leadership, and being respectful of people of higher
authority as well as the followers.
With regards to my trip to
India, I feel like I am an Ambassador for the United States. It is up to me to
make sure that I respect all people and especially reach out to them to show
that I respect their culture and belief.
My recent book that I am
reading is THE BUSINESS BOOK – BIG IDEAS SIMPLY EXPLAINED which is a DK book.
It gives you focus, innovation and direction. Models must be goal directed and must think of everything they do and how they present themselves. For example, if you are on linked in, you must work at it. If you do not have at least 500 connections, you are not looked upon as serious. If you have a Fan Page, you should have no less than 300 likes as you will not be considered anything. How you communicate to the public and who you associate with, says something who you are. It is important that I understand the basis and foundation of Marc Gagnon's work. Marc Gagnon supports the Jewish people in the support of the Wiesel family (Holocaust studies), Civil and Human Rights, Understanding the cultures of all people, Social Consciousness themes such as the environment, protection of all life, understanding history and the heritage of all people including Mythology and Folklore, as well as remembering the contributions of people. Most important, the truth is explored by Marc Gagnon. My role as a model is more than what I see in the mirror. It is what you do not see, like everything else.
